Who we are

What we collect and why
Table bookings. Name, contact details, party size, date and time, and any comments you add. We use these to provide your booking (lawful basis: contract). Bookings are processed on our behalf by ResDiary (privacy policy).
Takeaway orders. Orders are placed on a separate site run by Otter (privacy policy). We receive your name and order details to prepare and hand over your order (lawful basis: contract).
Enquiries. If you email or call us, we use your details to respond (lawful basis: legitimate interests). This website has no contact form and stores nothing you send us.
Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses to serve the site and protect it from attacks (lawful basis: legitimate interests). We do not run analytics or tracking.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. Embedded third-party services set their own: the ResDiary widget on our book page sets cookies needed to provide the booking you have asked for, and the Google map on our home and contact pages sets Google's cookies (Google's privacy policy). The site stores one non-personal flag in session storage to skip the loading animation; it is deleted when you close the tab.
Retention and sharing
How long we keep personal data depends on what it is for: booking records are removed once they are no longer needed for your visit and any follow-up, enquiry correspondence is deleted once the enquiry is resolved, and order records are kept only as long as accounting rules require. We do not sell personal data, use it for marketing without consent, or share it beyond the providers named above.
International transfers
Some of the providers named above, including Cloudflare, Google and Otter, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as an adequacy decision, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the ICO-approved International Data Transfer Agreement, as set out in each provider's privacy policy. ResDiary stores our booking data in Microsoft Azure data centres.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, receive the data you have given us in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Email info@pirifresco.com to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
